The Story Thus Far…

Kaitlyn Yi, a graphic designer for a small comic book publisher, received a strange work. Desperate to sell any available advertising space, her boss closed a new client who, unfortunately, had some strange requirements.
The client’s ad had to be done in code, and had to match the style of a sample ad she provided. It fell on Kaitlyn to write, design, and layout the ad.
After initially flailing on her own, Kaitlyn reached out to readers of her alternative wedding blog, Punk The Dress, to see if any of them had suggestions. In short order, readers began sending ideas and explanations of different types of codes, until Kaitlyn settled on the approach she’d take.

Like many people across the country, Kaitlyn and her husband fell ill to the H1N1 flu. After being out of the office for a couple weeks, Kaitlyn returned to help everyone finish preparations for a soon-to-be-announced project.
Kaitlyn has completed comps for the strange ad, and it waiting to show them to the client. Whenever she decides to make an appearance again…
